What is the best way to get cheap travel to Prague?
Me and mates want a cheap as trip to Prague. But want the cheapest nastiest flights from most airports. Would it be better to stay in a hotel or something when we get there instead of booking online to save cash. Meant to be going around April time!.
firstly, flying with a budget airline will save you a lot. If you know your dates, look on Skyscanner (link below) to find the cheapest days to fly between any two destinations in Europe.
Secondly, you can find a cheap hotel, but a cheap hotel will be a long way from anywhere good, and you’ll still pay too much.
I’s suggest you book into a hostel, free internet, free breakfast, shuttle pick-up to and from the airport, and you could probably book a private room for 3 or four of you to share for only £10 a night each (see my Hostelworld links below for three or four excellant Prague hostels) – and it’ll be clean, safe, and secure. Plus you’ll be surrounded by other like minded travellers too…
Hope that helps, Prague is a great city…

Try skyscanner.com or .co.uk they search all the airlines and give you cheapest option.
Looking around on internet at youth hostels and hotels is also your best bet, or try lastminute.com, can’t remember where I booked mine, think it was expedia and got a flight and hotel package for not that much

easyjet will get you there and back for around £60 inc all taxes from most major airports – book well in advance and choose midweek early morning flights for the best prices.
Staying in a hostel is much cheaper than a hotel, you can expect to pay about 10 – 20 euro per night.

book here if you can, just a hostel will do as they are clean enough, if you arrive there and start looking around you may attract some unwanted ‘help’. Although things are cheap in Prague if you are Czech they very quickly become very expensive when your British!! I was charged £3 for a bottle of water and the Czech girl with me was charged 25p!!!
