New York City is a very happening place-a whole lot more so than where I live. I don’t like the constant hornblowing and rude people, but other than that, NYC rocks.

    If you like old …
If you like old ugly cities then go to NYC. Its a bunch of hype. Old failing bridges are now called historical sites. Failing infastructure = keeping it real.

Rude people….ebonics….ummm…its a celebration of the worst that mankind has to offer.

    Im still in high …
Im still in high school and Im from Rochester( New York). I live in the city so moving to new york wont really be different for me, such as violence. Some weeks ago a young guy was shot and killed litteraly up the street. Last week a 12 yr old girl was shot in the face and died. I want to move there for the experience. I plan on transferring to John Jay for criminology. Ive been to New York before and I plan on going there within months since its not far away.

    yeah, you’ve …
yeah, you’ve probably never been to the other boroughs. Homelessness creates a problem in Brooklyn, Harlem, Bronx and Parts of Queens. The Station often have the urine smell and sometimes the subway cars. I ride it everyday, 5 days a week. I should know. If you’re in Midtown, it’s clean there since it’s always packed with people.
