How would I go about building a golf resort?

Okay its always been my dream to build my own golf resort. I’ve got 500,000. How do I build my resort starting with that. I know that the golf course will cost 2 mil +, but I don’t have that kind of money. And please don’t tell me I need to win the lottery. That would be nice though.

As you and I know that those $500k is not enough. But don’t make that into a problem. There are several creative ways and solutions to pursue this goal. The goal and the mission will be hard but not impossible.

First of all, do you have an ideal location in where you want to develop this in? What State or Country? Mexico? USA? California? If you don’t have a location already, then I suggest that you should start thinking for a location. Location is key!

Second, upon deciding for a location. I would recommend in doing an in depth report of the business model. Such as in how this would be finance. Marketing strategies? Business plan? Finance plan? ETC!

About financing this project. You should consider in bringing outside investors or partners that could help in developing this. I bet that there is so many investors that won’t mind in investing on this project if the proposal is perfect. The bottom line is that you need to assemble a team that is knowledgable in this type of field. The team could be two or up to 6.

Upon having a motivated team that will share the same vision as you, all the team members would need to do thier homework. That mean’s reading tedious books, seeking out consultants, and looking for the right people to get on board that could have connections.

What is the best way to get cheap travel to Prague?

Me and mates want a cheap as trip to Prague. But want the cheapest nastiest flights from most airports. Would it be better to stay in a hotel or something when we get there instead of booking online to save cash. Meant to be going around April time!.

firstly, flying with a budget airline will save you a lot. If you know your dates, look on Skyscanner (link below) to find the cheapest days to fly between any two destinations in Europe.

Secondly, you can find a cheap hotel, but a cheap hotel will be a long way from anywhere good, and you’ll still pay too much.

I’s suggest you book into a hostel, free internet, free breakfast, shuttle pick-up to and from the airport, and you could probably book a private room for 3 or four of you to share for only £10 a night each (see my Hostelworld links below for three or four excellant Prague hostels) – and it’ll be clean, safe, and secure. Plus you’ll be surrounded by other like minded travellers too…

Doesn’t have to be near where I live so any suggestions welcomed.

Depends on what part of the country you live in.

If you live in the northeast and you and your hubby are into the paranormal, there are many "haunted" inns / hotels from the american revolution. The proprietors will be more than happy to tell you the history of the inn / hotel and the hauntings.

If you live in the south, try The Inn at Biltmore. It is exquisitely beautiful and you can take advantage of the spas and salons and the restaurant in the "stable" on the grounds or in the Inn itself. North Carolina usually has mild winters but even during the colder, snowier months you can still tour Biltmore (Vanderbilt Estate) and there are many bed & breakfasts in the area.

If you are from the southwest, try an inn, hotel or hostel near the Grand Canyon or in the National Park. This time of year is not too busy and you can still find plenty to do without having to fight a million tourists.

If you are from the Northwest, try the Salish Lodge and Spa in Snoqualmie Falls, WA. There is lots to do and enjoy especially if you like the outdoors.

Are the beach resorts in Nasugbu, Batangas easily accessible via public buses from Pasay?

Do we need to take a cab/jeepney/trike to explore the beach resorts? We’re planning to go there only via public buses from Pasay/MRT, just not sure if it’s safe though. Suggestions are very much appreciated….

There used to be BLTB bus line that plys Nasugbu and even with a station there. Not anymore since several years ago coz .they folded up
The buses from Pasay only go to "Calatagan" and you can alight at the Shell gas station intersection, for Calatagan is to the left and the bus turns left—you are bound to the right… (you take a jeep trike at that will take you to the "aplaya" or where the small resorts are.Kinda far still, so it’s jeep then tricycle….
I am not sure of other shuttles but in Metropolis Alabang there is a Nasugbu….
But I do not recommend the shuttles to friends, for safety reasons.
OR you can target to reach at least Tagaytay and Check out from there how to get to Nasugbu—but that would be too adventurous.

Do I need to lock the carry-in luggage for international travel?

I was wondering if I have to lock my carry-in luggage for the long international travel this weekend. I have 2 TSA locks, and planned to use them for the check-in luggages.

Will an ordinary lock be fine for the carry-in? Or, do I need a TSA? Or, Can I just leave it unlocked?

You do not need to lock your carry-on…should be in your possession all the time anyway. I really prefer to put it under my seat than up above where another person could take it if I am in the bathroom or during the de-boarding confusion.

What are some jobs that require a great deal of travel either domestically, internationally or both?

I’m researching possible job opportunities for professionals who enjoy life on the road. What are some examples of jobs and employers that require 50% or more travel from their employees. I have a proven background in sales/account management and possess a college degree with no travel limitations.

I am in human resources and travel about 50% of the time. Some sales jobs & IT related consulting have frequent travel. Look for companies that have an international presence. Good luck!

This is kind of the low fare train…. it leaves roma Termini early in the morning and stops at Firenze 1 1/2 hr later… very fast and convenient……. try it!

Costa Rica Vacation Deals?

I was looking online for vacation deals to Costa Rica. One that includes meals and some tours, but tours are not neccessary. I’ve only been able to find deals that include tours but not meals. If anyone has any suggestions or places they have been it would be helpful. thanks
